Kenting National Forest Recreation Area

Hundreds of thousands of years ago, this area consisted of innumerable undersea coral reefs. Later on, the area was covered by a thin layer of soil following crustal uplift and weathering, resulting in a peculiar, but beautiful reef landscape with limestone caves, cliffs, canyons, stalagmites, stalactites, and other geological wonders. Since the rocks have become surfaces on which plants can take root, visitors often observe giant trees winding through the rock cliffs. This natural landscape is absolutely stunning.
